Which are the Yoruba states in Nigeria, I am doing a term paper on Yoruba people and would really like to hear back from you, I hope I have my spellings correct.

    The Yoruba people are domiciled in some of the popular states in Nigeria. Yoruba states in Nigeria are just six in number, but of course, in Nigeria, you can always live in any part of the country.

    I have made a list of the states belonging to the Yorubas below.

    1. Lagos

    2. Ekiti

    3. Ondo

    4. Oyo

    5. Osun

    6. Ogun

    The Yoruba people are considered the most educated people in Nigeria. Yoruba is a popular language in Nigeria that is spoken by the Yoruba people.

    There are hundreds of ethnic groups in Nigeria, among them are major and minor ethnic groups. Yoruba, amongst Igbo, and Hausa are the major ethnic groups existing in Nigeria.
