Here we will be talking about some of them and comparing them in terms of popularity, revenue generation, population, business opportunities, lifestyle and a whole lot of other factors to consider.
Lagos State, for instance, is reputed as the most popular state in Nigeria and also the busiest in terms of population.

People behave differently in different states and every state is made up of different ethnic groups, languages, etc. These ethnic groups have foods that are indigenous to them.
There are more than 300 different ethnic groups in Nigeria that occupying different Nigerian states.

The creation of 12 Nigerian states actually began in 1967 when General Yakubu Gowon came into power via a successful coup. He went ahead to dissolve the existing regions and created 12 states out of them.
By February 1976, almost a decade later, Gen. Murtala Mohammed would squeeze out another seven states from the already existing 12, making it a total of 19 states
Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, took the baton and added another 11 states from 1987 to 1991, making a total of 30 states existing in Nigeria.
Abacha came to power and added the last 6 states in 36 by the year 1996.
